About the Cubs

When

We have two Cub Packs:

Arderne Pack meet at the "HUT" on Monday evenings, from 19.15 to 20.30. |

Portal Pack meet at the "HUT" on Wednesday evenings, from 18.45 to 20.15.

| Who |
Boys aged 8 to 10½. Our main source of cubs is from the Beaver Colonies.

What
|
The Cub programme is based around the traditional outdoor scouting activities associated with camping. We also spend a lot of our time doing badge work.
We have a good football team, and compete regularly with other Cub teams in the Chester League (5-a-side Winners, Cup Winners and League runners up this season 1998-9). We also take part in District competitions, winning the Arts & Crafts Competition.
During the Year we hold a one-night camp for those boys who have not camped with us before. This is followed by the annual week-end camp in summer and the Pack holiday in the Autumn.
